where are you from? is a question I get again and again. but a more interesting question to ask would be where am I going.

relationships, introspection and time continue to draw my interest. in observing the connection of the individual with his surroundings, I seek to convey alternative ways of thinking about the familiar.

i am attracted to materials that carry on their surface the physical marks of history and through their use have been endowed with meaning.

metal, stone, wood, plaster and lead are some of the materials that I work with in either found or altered objects. I am looking for new possibilities of being that are absorbed into these objects and materials, and the traces they leave in their wake.
